What types of humanities research projects are you undertaking?

Our center will undertake humanities research within three critical areas of AI’s influence on society: society: (i) historically and philosophically analyzing AI-driven misinformation and trust, (ii) assessing the impact of AI on privacy and personal freedom, and (iii) exploring impact of AI technology on African Americans. 

What kinds of education and training activities do you offer?

Our center integrates humanities/AI workshops, speaker series, an Alabama higher education AI exchange symposium, and a digital humanities certificate program.

What is the Graduate Certificate Program in Digitial Humanities offered by the center?

The certificate program will ensure that students gain knowledge and skills in the essential elements of content curation and editing, website design, data management, linked data, human-computer interaction, and project workflow.
